Auto transport: carrier or broker?

To ship a car without a broker is a risk. Brokers ensure questionable car shipping carriers do not take advantage of customers. Auto transport brokers educate consumers and ensure only licensed and insured carriers move their vehicle. As a result, without a broker consumers may run the risk of using an unreliable, uninsured, or illegal transporter. A shipper using such a carrier may leave one with a damaged vehicle and no form of recourse.
