Kentucky Derby
The Kentucky Derby, held at Churchill Downs outside of Louisville, is one of horse racing's biggest events and Kentucky's most well-known event. On the first Sunday in May, the Kentucky Derby hosts thousands of people from both the U.S. and visitors from across the globe.
Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory
The museum shows the history of the Louisville Slugger and the careers of some of the most famous players. It displays the bat that Hank Aaron used to hit his 700th home run, Joe DiMaggio's bat from his 56-game hitting streak, and the bat that Babe Ruth used for 21 of his home runs in 1927.
Daniel Boone National Forest
More than 708,000 acres of land make up the Daniel Boone National Forest, which is located in eastern Kentucky. The Natural Bridge, which is 65 feet high and 75 feet wide, and the park's unique landscape, is home to over 3,400 kilometers of sandstone cliffs, gorges, and rivers and streams.
Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Park
The 16th President's father, Thomas Lincoln, founded Sinking Springs Farm, which is now the location of the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Park. The Memorial Building, which includes the Symbolic Birth Cabin, a recreation of the one-room cabin where Abraham Lincoln was born in 1809, was completed in 1911.

The Amtrak train runs two lines, offering a fun travel and scenic view when stopping at Louisville, Maysville, Fulton, Ashland, and South Core. Although they are not the fastest system to get around Kentucky.
