Transportation

Whether you are looking for private or public transportation in Mississippi, there are multiple ways of traveling across the state, from cheap prices to private transport.

You can opt for trains and buses at an affordable price. The Amtrak lines run through major parts of the state and to nearby cities like the city of New Orleans, Louisiana. On the other hand, the train is a fun way to travel across the state but isn't really helpful in terms of transportation through it.

You can also try the Greyhound bus, which is more expensive but a good way to get to Mississippi or move around towns. There's also the Delta Bus Line, which only travels within Mississippi.

If you're looking for private transportation, you can either rent a vehicle at the state's major cities or simply ship your car if you're planning to relocate or do a long-time stay. Taxicabs are also another excellent and safe option to get around larger cities like Jackson or Biloxi.
